Falling Sky Productions was founded in 1997 by Cassie Stafford and Kira Lerner (the latter of whom is FSP's current executive director) to coordinate production on the Web series About Schuyler Falls. ASF has been in continuous production since April 1997 and was first published on the Web in November of that year, soon winning acclaim from critics (including notice as Yahoo!'s Site of the Day and Access Magazine's Best Entertainment Sites of 2000) and from its avid audience.

Since then, FSP's work has included:

- Initiating the web presence for Brushware Magazine, RDM Hotels and Resorts and Theatre for a New Audience. Work included designing, implementing and updating original and subsequent designs.

- Redesign, copywriting, editorial services and webmaster services for IUV Magazine and Book By You (including its two imprints Romance By You and Kids Book By You).

- Production of the EpiGuide, a web-based entertainment series guide and community. Responsible for design and graphic work, programming and software customization, content editing and management, copy editing/updating, and promotional activities.

- Implementing all program customization and design work for SeniorHospitality.com, a portal/directory for senior citizens and the industries that serve them.
