Tips for the Two Children & It questionnaire
Filling out the character questionnaire is fun, and only takes about five minutes to complete! To return to the character questionnaire, close this browser window.
Remember: All text will appear in the book as entered in the character questionnaire. Please double check and verify entries prior to submitting your order! Also, capitalize only where appropriate. When you have completed all the required information within the questionnaire 'click' the submit button to transmit your order. Most importantly - have fun... and live the fantasy!
The Main Character

Our "main" character leads and instigates the adventure. On their own or with their friend, our main character overcomes the unexpected adversity that accompanies each of the wishes granted by our irritable psammead (sand-fairy). The outcome of each wish teaches our characters a valuable lesson about traditional values and moral choices. For example, beauty is only skin deep and riches can't always buy happiness.
When entering the main character's name, include the commonly used version - for example, Mike for Michael or Nan for Nancy. Feel free to use a nickname.
Descriptions of hair color, length and type as well as eye color are included
within the text of the book - so select the basic description that best
suits the person you have picked to be the main character. If you are
not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one - it's a fantasy!!
The Friend

The friend in the story plays a fun and indispensable role - cajoling and supporting the main character in all the ways best friends do! Of course, at times, our friend provides comic relief while other times he or she would gladly sacrifice their life to save their best friend...
Suggestions for the "friend's" character would be a close friend or neighbor, a brother or sister, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the 'friend' character in the book (or there are too many to select from) relax - choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or make one up. Or try one of these: Spunky, Princess or add 'meister' after a name or word: BruceMeister.
Choose the commonly used first name for the person you have selected.
For instance - use Bob instead of Robert if he is commonly called 'Bob'.
Descriptions of the friend's hair and eye color aren't used often within
the story, so don't worry if you can't remember or don't know. Sometimes
it's fun to make it up - for added fun include 'spiky red hair'!
The Adult Character

The wisdom of our adult's wise words at times inspires our main character to seek out adventure. Of course, the adult character plays a relatively minor role compared to our main characters! (So if you want to be the star, you might want to get your own book - or check out our personalized romance novels!)
If the book is being given as a gift by an adult, the 'adult character' is an ideal place to put the giftgiver's name.
If you can't think of an 'adult' or don't wish to put your name in the book, think about selecting a cartoon, movie or television character.
